Our agency is led by Corey Manuel, Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a founding member of the practice. Corey has over 20 years of experience in social service provision; directs and supervises long term care group homes for developmentally disabled populations in and throughout Volusia County; Supreme Court Certified County and Family Mediator; and certified to provide government and judicial/court ordered competency evaluations and assessments.

Our administration and development department is led by Shelly Babington, who has designed customized systems to capture and analyze trends in counseling and demographic populations throughout Central Florida. Shelly also represents the agency in several committees throughout the tri-county area and is a dedicated proponent to the provision of mental health services as a great need in our surrounding communities.

We also offer family and county mediation, in 7 counties throughout the State of Florida, with a focus on families undergoing divorce and separation. Divorce mediation is an effective alternative to court litigation for resolving disputes that arise as two people separate their lives. A mediator, acting as an impartial third party, helps couples work through the issues of their divorce to reach a mutually agreeable settlement. This is a voluntary process, that is less adversarial, less time-consuming and less costly. This process allows couples to retain control over the outcome of their divorce and reach agreements on such things as parenting arrangements, spousal support, and the division of assets and debts. The details of your private life are kept confidential, and the emphasis is shifted towards settling disputes, as compared to finding fault. Individuals also have more control over the process, and open communication is encouraged. When couples work towards a mutual agreement, the likelihood of future cooperation is improved, and both sides can feel comfortable with the outcome.
